The client wanted to convert an existing garage into sunroom with adjacent utility space and external dining area, pizza oven and fire-pit.
The house was extended to create new access, utility room and toilet and the garage lined with insulating plasterboard, the roof insulated and a large double glazed roof light added sized to afford maximum daylight without excessive solar gain.
An external wall was constructed to shelter the dining area and provide an external fire-pit and flue and in-built pizza oven.
The patio was finished in a terracotta coloured, large format pavor to match the existing red brick of the house.
"Keith made the whole process of extending our house exciting and hassle free. He is very much a stickler for detail and is only content when the job is completed to his, but more importantly the clients specifications . He has wonderful ideas and his lovely manner and approachability made him the right choice of architect for us.
Very pleased with the whole project from start to finish".
